Brian Deanhardt, owner of Brimco Builders, drew the plans for and built our almost 3000 square foot dream home at the beach in his local area! We love it and we're so glad we chose Brimco and Brian Deanhardt! Very friendly and professional. Awesome to work with! Incorporated every detail on our wish list. Employees and sub-contractors were nice and easy to work with, as well. We could not be happier with the finished product! Being 200 miles from where you are building can be a little daunting. Not so with Brimco! We would do it all again and our builder would have to be Brian Deanhardt, Brimco Builders, Harkers Island NC (near Morehead City NC)!
We love our new home. Brian did a great job working with us to create an attractive design that was built on a demanding site. He has extensive knowledge of home construction and material selection for a coastal home. His attention to detail and quality are invaluable during the design and construction process. Brian always tried to include all of our wishes into the house.Our home was constructed in six months during a very wet fall and winter. We highly recommend him if you are looking for a great home builder.
This was a big job because it was a major add-on to an old waterfront home with heavy mud conditions, CAMA requirements that demanded exact measurements, and very sensitive building and environmental concerns. This project was completed on time and in a professional manner in every respect, and with Mr. Deanhardt himself on site at least 3 times a week. Please accept my personal recommendation of Mr. Deanhardt without any reservation.

All I can say is "WOW". I have been so pleased with the work Brian & Brimco did for us building our dream beach house. The craftsmanship and level of attention paid to the smallest details has been unbelievable. What impressed me the most was that in those case where Brian could have made the decision to go "good enough", he always chose to go one step further and chose the best option, even on the smallest things.
With any new house, you will find some minor issues after closing. This is where you really see the type of person you are dealing with, and Brian far exceeded my expectations. He never once argued with us, or told us that an issue we wanted fixed or changed was not a problem, he simply said "OK" and did it.

Brimco Builders is always there when you need them. Following Hurricane Aurthur Brimco Builders was at my home with in 24 hours completing repairs. Other contractors that came through to assist residents but there homes still sit unrepaired. Brimco always does excellent quality work. There is no reason to go anywhere else.

There are not enough stars to recommend this builder. Ability, flexibility, availability, expertise, are all strengths of Brian Deanhardt. There are no blueprints for the beach house project he constructed for us, only an original plan. Brian was able to raise ceiling heights, add porches, enlarge room sizes and create more storage space as we created a much better layout of our original version. He tirelessly found extraordinary products doing research to find the best, most durable lines for beach front living, i.e. porch railings, outdoor flooring, light fixtures, even outdoor appliance for an outdoor kitchen and fireplace. Now that our project has been completed for 2 years, he is only a phone call away from helping us with even the smallest of concerns about our home.
Brimco Builders replaced my gas fireplace with a wood burning one last fall. They did an excellent job. Brian listen to what I wanted and then made it happen, and on time. The workers were always there when they said they would be and cleaned up before they left each time!! The fireplace is beautiful and works amazingly!! I would definitely recommend Brimco Builders to anyone and personally look forward to working with them again.

I chose Brian Deanhardt of Brimco Builders to build my house on Harkers Island because he convinced me that he was familiar with many/most pitfalls of coastal building and how to prevent them, because he was "hands on" and focused on each and every home he built, and because he also lived on the Island and couldn't run far. I was not disappointed. Brian did an excellent job with the construction, was attentive to detail, and extremely responsive to any concerns that I had. Even though my house is out of warranty, Brian still checks on the house, and is willing to help with any issues that arise. After hurricane Arthur, Brian was by the house at 06:30 assessing any damage. He saw a couple of shingles missing on a lower ridge and had them replaced within a couple of days. He saw that I had a deck post cap missing and brought me a new one. First class guy and full service during and after the process. I highly recommend Brian, and am happy to talk further with potential clients of Brimco Builders.
